Just got our new blog going. Yeah!
A little about us:
Recently zach purchased some remote control helicopters. He is trying new hobbies, or rather starting a hobby. I suggested for years that his hobbies should include finishing a basement. :)
I have been cake decorating for 3ish years now, but recently have taken some classes to learn some tricks. Last week I made an Angry Birds Cake and a Thomas the train cake. I love being creative when I decorate. Zach hates that our kitchen is a mess when it's cake time.
Zach and I became and Aunt and Uncle last month. FINALLY!! Cole and Mariah welcomed little Shawn to their family in February. Congrats to them.
Lyndee is still taking Dance. She absolutely loves it. You can catch her dancing anywhere, anytime. She is in First Grade. She loves Art and Music, but getting her to do her reading every night. . . let's say that some nights I just give up. She loves to dress up, but wierdly hates having her hair done. So often you will see her looking like, what we call the Orphan Child. She sure keeps us laughing daily. already we have GIRL drama. What boys she likes, etc. I think she is going to give us a run for our money. Literally!!
Alex's favorite thing in this world is. . . wii. He loves wii, and any game assosciated with it. His first words in the morning will be, I'm hungry, and Can I play wii? He knows however that he has to get ready, and clean his room, and any other mess he's made before he can play. He is such a good helper (when lyndee is not around). He loves to play with his friends, and currently since it has warmed up he loves the sandbox. (They are about the only things that keep his mind off wii).
Madi just turned 1 year. I made her a monkey cake for her birthday. She really enjoyed that cake. She can melt her dad's heart. I can tell you that he can be so grumpy, but when she flashes a little smile at him, he really melts. She is walking all over now, and loves it. I am pretty sure it wears her out, as it seems she is sleeping more. She finally has enough hair to get a small piggy (pig tail) on top of her head. Finally!!
